Sharing with you one of my fall mini-sessions I shot three weeks ago. We were very lucky to have a beautiful and sunny weather on the day of my minis. I came to the park to meet all the families and found myself mesmerized by the stunning nature around me with its rich shades and colours. Oh well, the sun was high up, so as usual in the case like that one I was working my way round it: hiding in the shade was my mission number one that day))). We all know that morning and noon is not the best time for outside sessions, but what I like about this time is the brightness and the richness of colours that gives us the sun. So yes, I am quite happy with the results that I’ve got.
I should also mention that I am quite meticulous about my photo sessions: I always advise my clients in advance on what to wear to my sessions. I did ask everyone to wear something red and to bring red accessories. You can see for yourself how ‘color-appropriate’ the entire session looks, because of that.
Few more words about this family: it was a pleasure meeting them with their cute little baby-girl Alissa. She was delightful and ready to pose and smile for me every time I placed her into a different spot. I did plan to photograph her with a bucket full of apples; however, it happened that Alissa loved applies so much and we couldn’t get her attention while not eating)). So we took them away 🙂 Nonetheless, we’ve got enough images to capture how happy this family is. That’s what every family photo session is about: capturing the time together, so it can always stay with us not only in our memory, but in our photographs as well.
