Yes, this is my first blog post, so bear with me. I will get better at this, I promise :))).
I met this young woman with her son two weeks ago for an outdoor photo session in the Old Port of Montreal. One thing I can say for sure: it’s challenging to shoot in the bright daylight when the sun is up high. As you may know the best light for outside summer photo session is during ‘the golden hour’ starting around 6:30pm. At that time, the sun is down, endowing us with a rich and flattering light ideal for warm summer images.
However, at times we have to be flexible and make the most of the timing and the place we are at. As you can see below we managed to hide from the harsh sunlight while capturing the brightness of the summertime! I am very happy with the results that we’ve got. Enjoy my recent summer photo session in the urban setting.
